Mine has 286k on it, owner before me (farmer/mechanic) had the GVW jacked right up and had a 5th wheel hitch. He obviously did some heavy towing in the mountains (Im in British Columbia). So I guess I got one of the good ones Knowing I have one keeps me on my toes though. I never stomp on it when shes cold or run the hell out of her so my engine should have a long long life.

 

I got 180K on mine with no cracks and trust me I am young and dumb and run the hell outta my truck . But make sure that you let the truck warm up before towing or driving hard. Especially in the winter monthes.
