I have a broken headlight switch. The switch works but the dash coner part is broken where it you insert the screw to secuere it to the dash. My switch has just the pull on-push off with the dimmer on the on-off ****. The later 2000-2002 switch has the dimmer on a sepret wheel next to the switch.

My Question is:
Can I up grade to the later model switch, will my oem wiring just plug in as it should and will the later switch fit into my dash? If any of you have an extra switch that works and you want to sell it just let me know.

It may work with a newer switch but I wouldn't guarantee it.

If you throw up a picture of the back of your current switch, and of the connectors to it, i can compare it to a spare i have in my garage.
