now you need a fuel pressure gauge and a fuel system upgrade

Keep checking your coolant level. If the smoke is white as you say, it is water or condensation in your system. Might be a pin leak somewhere, hopefully not the block. VP44's need a fuel pressure guage more than anything. When starts to run at less than 14-16lbs the lift is going out and it is a lot cheaper than the injection pump. Once lift gone - there goes the injection pump.

i have checked the fuel pressure at the schrader valve on
the injection pump and on the back of the filter/ water sep.
and i have 18 to 20 lbs of pressure and also i replaced the cheap
autozone filter with a new one from NAPA and i clean the iat and map
sensor and i put 2 stroke oil in fuel every other fill up
the white smoke stopped until a couple days ago then it started again
but as i was cleaning and replacing stuff i saw the top of the VP44 and it
read Remanufactured unit but have no idea how old it is tho.

you have 18-20psi of fuel pressure at wide open throttle?

To check the cooling system, the radiator pressure tester from Harbor Freight is worth its weight in gold. Its kept me from going on more then a few wild goose hunts.
