Hi Everyone,

Newb question on transmission. I just bought a 99 2500 quad cab long box with 202xxx on it. the trans shifts ok but im planning for the future. All I have done so far is cleaned the K&N intake that came with it and the truck came with a dual exhaust Y"d off the main pipe coming back with no muffler. Im looking at getting an airdog 150 and either an edge juice or quadzilla and a better 4" exhaust shortly here. My question is I have done a lot of research on this site about transmissions but rarely see the companys sell the rebuild kits etc for them. Does anyone have a good company that sells just the kits with individual parts? Ive seen the billet items sold seperately on a couple of sites but not the rebuild kits themselves. Id like to tackle rebuilding the trans myself and save a few bucks if I can get the kits themselves at a good price. Seems like I ran across a thread with this very info but I cant relocate it. Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks for the info. Shea I sent you a pm. Im not sure what id need but im looking at the mbrp 4", Edge with attitude or the quadzilla, and down the road a set of 100hp injectors and a small turbo upgrade as they wear out. Mainly just looking for an all around fun truck that still gets good mileage and can tow my walleye boat Thanks for the help!!
