Hi, I own a 1983 Nissan (Datsun) Maxima (810) 4 door sedan, with over 300,000 miles. Finding spare parts for this car are extreamly diffcult. Ebay doesnt turn up much, and I have'nt tried Craiglist yet. I have gone to local junk yards and when ask about my vehicle they say if I had come by 10 years ago i might had better luck finding used parts.

Recently when I removed the stainless steel trim, i was suddenly suprised to see the A pillars and edge of the roof where the windshield is located has rusted so bad, i can only wonder how i can repair this situation. A buddy suggested I find a loaner car, but since parts are so rare, even finding another car will be a mission. Any suggestions on parts, repair process, and finding a another used 1981 to 1983 Nissan Maxima?
