ok guys, so this happened yesterday morning and today around noon. I was in my truck getting ready to leave both times moving about 2-3 mph and i hear what sounds like air escaping and then a loud clunk somewhere under my truck, but sounds like front end. It sounds like its coming from the drivers side but not sure. What would be causing something like this?

 

Do you still have 4WD could be the air lines for the 4 wheel drive ( the actuator on the front of the axle).Just a guess.When you say air leaking or escaping that is all I got or losing air in a tire.

 

def not air in a tire and it escapes for 1-2 sec then CLUNK!

 

your power steering might be goin out..

 

its probley your vacum liones for you 4 wd and the cluck is mostly 4wd kicking in

 

well theres no change in the power steering and the clunk i doubt is 4wd engaging because when i turn tight in 4wd the truck kinda hops and there was no hopping from 4wd

 

id still check your vacum lines
