nuttin new to report George..................the only time it does it is when I get back to town and shut it off then start up again like a half hour later ......and its always in stop and go traffic and never out on the highway

damn thing is pissin me off I know that

I still love the truck and it aint for sale ....but damn it man

 

Know anybody with an ECU you can try?

Its either that or maybe the cam sensor is getting heat soaked and then malfunctioning? Interesting either way.

 

OK............just got back from a 800 mile trip............got the new VP in there and its workin good.................hauled a big *** tractor for my brother drove I-80 accross WYO and got a call from Nuklex Jeramy and we hooked up in Kemmerer and he helped me take the tractor up to my brothers place and unload it thanks stud it was cool to meet ya bro

anyway I ran accross some interesting stugg........whenever the speedo would wack out going down the highway it would only go to 115max.....all is well and didnt effect nuttin at all............here where I think we may be on to something.when in town and going slow 20-30 mph and the speed would wack out it would go up to 120 and peg and then the shut down.just to idle but I think it was callin the safe mode and defuelin er somethin

at this point I think I am gonna just try to unplug the ABS module so I have no speedo at all and see what happens from there ?????????
