The Fass DDRP is only made for a stock truck. Spend a few extra bucks and get at least a FASS HPFP or Raptor.

So I know this is off topic but I was looking at lift pumps on Diesel Dawgs and I noticed that there is a KDP kit for 2nd gen. Cummins. I thought they were safe from it?

NOPE. There are reports of 02 trucks getting hit with the KDP. You have to pull the cover to check it.

You're kidding.... When did we learn about KDP's in '02 trucks? Does it also affect the other years that were "previously unaffected"? '00 & '01?

No Im not. - youve been gone for a few years havent you?? Fishing2Deep4U posted up a scan of the repair receipt from his Dads 02. Ill see if I can find it.

Apparantely, they kept using the old timing covers until they ran out. They are now selling repair kits for 12V's and repair kits or 24V's.

About how long do you think it would take to pull the fan and belt and cover and fix it or check?

Plan for a good part of a day - depends on how easy the new crank seal goes on and if the person doing it has done it before.
