Thanks guys I used the tire tool worked good thanks. Took a little but got it out I also took some pictures and wanted to ask you do you think I need a rear seal ? the guy that sold me this truck told me that he had never changed the clutch what do you think the truck its got 259000 miles. remember this is not the truck of my signature its a truck I bought for $5000. thanks for helping me out.

In my opinion (free advice is free LOL):

1. Rear main seal looks good to me!

2. I don't see that as being the stock clutch. The springs in the torsion damper look too good for 250+k miles. That lining is D-O-N-E though.

3. HOLY FLYWHEEL!!!!! WOW! Is that really what that last picture was? Man, that thing belongs in a hall of SHAME somewhere. Not just the teeth, but the surface! WOWZERS!

I know right the flywheel is toast I am planning in getting one monday.

looks bout like mine did when i replaced it except mine was cracked in 3 or 4 spots lucky it didnt fall apart...but the SDD fixed all that

do you guys know the torque specs for the bell housing bolts?

i always just get em sure enough tight dont really worry about the torque specs on them

Yeah, I keep meaning to look that up for you, but keep forgetting.

about two and a half grunts oughta get it though.
