And when were talkin about crackin lines and bleeding them be sure you have actual flow goin before you tighten em back up. Not bubbles, trickles or spurt's but actual flow. Get messy if need be, luckily diesel fuel is next to impossible to catch fire under there so no worries there.

yea i kno that i loosened the intake line on the vp and hit the lp and i was coverd and it was sittin in my tool box i have a bi mess to clean up how should the fuel be coming out of the injector line like a spray or what bec. i had a spedy flow for the most part just bout

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

should that be fuel coming out of the injector lines 4 and 5 when cracked when the lift pump is runing or only when cranking the motor i was watching a video on you tube and fuel was coming out with just his lp going myn dont do that

ya id have to lean towards the airdog having to much psi I have a 99 and they all came with the old weeker vp diphrams i think it was around 2001 or 2002 they started to fix this with a tuffer inlet but like bubba had said the key way on the vp 1 and its life or death there and then bleading iv all so had luck hitting the lines with a small rubber mallet to cause vibration to get the air out of the bends and hard spots and rebleading all the injector lines at the motor, from there id say its the psi on the vp inlet

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

ok there could be a problem YES fule should come out of all 6 injector lines when cracked with the lp running id turn up the lp just for bleading then turn it down to 1/4 to 1/2

I should have thrown in a word of caution a long time ago here, be careful of that fuel coming out of the injector lines at the head, it's under extreme psi. Never put a finger or anything in the stream.

ok heres another thing not sure if it will matter but when my stocker vp went or quit running i had a code saying something about ecmno able to communicate with VP44 whats that mean some one said that just means VP is bad but could that be a reason it wont start now and how to fix the problem

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

yea i wasnt cranking just bumping it and it never came out of the 2 lines i had cracked at the same time just one or the other and they would switch

you can clear the coads with a scan tool or try to unhook the neg side on both batterys for a min and turn the key to drain any other stored and wait a few to hook it back up, It works to clear some of the coads
