ok thats cool makes me feel better . I found a diagram of the motor i think that tube runs into the motor some were behind the the top part of the fuel filter i dont know were it would connect up there but it does and it aint hurting any thing maybe theres a plug up there that the previuse owner took out and put somthing in that the tube could connect to but i will try to get some pics ill let ya know

 

heard of removing a frost plug and running the oil back into the block but never seen it could be what was done with yours,have a good night I got to go to bed got to get up early and go to the shop
