boost leak???

Default boost leak???

ok i put my injection pump on the other day and when i pulled my intake horn off i ripped one of the gaskets so i put it on just to test drive it and it was makeing a whistle noise that came on when i was makeing some boost so i put and new gasket on it and it now sounds like a loud breathing noise. what could this be everything is tight and i dont see any rips in the boots

when you drive what are your boost levels the boot might not be on right intake could be warped ar u having a power loss

yea im not seeing the same boost at all.

okay retorque all your bolts check you boots real good you might have torn the boot pullin on it but cant see it

im going to put soap water on it while some one spools it that will find the leak.

ok figured out what it was. when i put my airdog on i took off my stock fuel filter and forgot to put the bolts back in and blew intake cover gasket.

Common problem! I've fixed the exact same problem about 15 times in 3 months, Make sure you use a shorter bolt where your fuel filter housing was (not the stock bolts)

That's weird I just did the same thing when I did injectors and it was one bolt drivers side front she was leaking like crazy I tightened the bolt and tested to 30 psi not a single bubble I may have gotten lucky but with my mileage at 15 city I knew something was wrong hoping I see a nice gain in mpg I already noticed the gain in power
