Default Just lookin for ideas

Ok so now im addicted. Haha. I have a 2001 ext. cab short bed, 5 spd with bout 140k on it. Its just going to be a street runner no sled pulling or heavy towing (maybe 1 or 2 ton a couple times a winter). So far i have an intake, smarty, mbrp 5" exhaust, and isspro gauges fp, boost, egt. I know im going to need a clutch and fuel system, im thinking bout going with airdog 150 and a southbend clutch. But now im looking for some other ideas. It will be a while till i can do osme of these just looking to see what everyone has to say about injectors and turbo upgrades. i would like to get up around 600hp or more haha for now its a daily driver, im just looking to turn heads. Thanks ya'll

If you sell the smarty and get a edge comp, or a quadzilla adrenaline you will make more power than the smarty is putting out. 600hp is not a easy task with the vp44. I have compounds and 200hp sticking on mine and make 570. For the clutch you want a good southbend dd, the airdog 150 would be good too. I would say do a set of compounds on to keep it street driveable without a ton of smoke and a good set of 250hp injectors.

The only trucks that really see an improvement with that stack is the Auto Trucks. Get an Edge Comp or Quadzilla Adrenaline.

Most autos I have seen don't get much improvement from that stack either. I would buy an edge drag comp since you already have gauges, great simple straight forward box that has been producing good reliable power for a while. I've had mine for 4 trouble free years now. I would also recommend going with compounds as well. probably a mach 6 or 7 injector. Or scheid's depending on your opinion of smoke.

I've had no problem making 600 on a VP-44 truck. With the right parts 550-640 is an easy to reach goal with a single charger.
