Aftermarket springs mainly, to make sure you don't have valve float. Other than that you should be pretty safe. It's tough to get to 4k on a VP powered truck though...

Probably need studs as well as boost will be up there by the time you reach 4k.

Any vendor that sells aftermarket cams can set you up with springs. Hamilton and F1 diesel have them to name two that I know of off the top of my head.
It is feasible with a Redline as long as you have enough fueling. I have only been able to reach 3700 rpms so far before the VP44 starts to run out of fuel.

As I said, Hamilton and F1 make some among others I am sure. Any vendor on this site can get you a set. Just request a price quote and you will get many responses I am sure.

A few have been able to make power to 4k with an SO pump, but it seems rather uncommon. Most that reach that power have an upgraded pump (monster, dragonflow, etc..)
I decided to stick with an SO pump as this truck is my daily driver and thus it needs to be very streetable. I am satisfied with the results though...

The SOVP44 so far shows the best reliability and highest sustained power.
The new II monster pump is the ONLY one thats show to even try to fuel above 3700.
No Box will fuel if the pump dosent have any more fuel. TJ ran a monster and IIRC still didnt fuel to 4K, I guess what i'm saying is, I really dont belive the monster is going to fuel over 3700, just like the SO pumps!
