I have a 96 12v has cai 5" straight pipe and #1 fuel plate. What are some good mods to gain power with less smoke. As of rite now if I just think about the fuel pedal a stupid amount of smoke just pukes out till around 2500 rpm. I was thinking water meth but I'm don't know if it will help with the smoke. Any help is appreciated thank you.

 

Search about tuning your AFC it will help greatly with your low end smoke issue.

 

Indeed. Also adding timing to the injector pump can take some heat and smoke out of it, but it sounds like you need to slide your AFC housing back a bit. You don't have the mods that require the amount of fuel you're throwing at it, so you're puking it out the *** as smoke. Take out some fuel, or give it more air (better turbo).
