whenever i let my truck sit over night and go out and drive it it will start out in 2nd.... when the tranny is warm and i shut it off and drive it again later it will be stuck in 1st untill like 2500rpm or until i drive it a few blocks then it goes thru 2-3-4 just fine after it shifts into 3rd once when i stop it will start off in 2nd...any suggestions???

You also might want to replace the speed sensor. It is only $30 part and that fixed mine when it would not shift until 2500 RPMs.

Have you guys heard of reseting the throttle postion sensor?? I've heard that might help to a friend of mine did that to his and it stopped the problem.. If any of you guys no how could you send me the steps to reseting it?
