Default trans acting up

Every now and then my truck will not down shift into first. I sometimes start in 2nd but if I get where I am going and then restart the truck 5 min later or so it goes into first. I am at a loss here. TV cable been adjusted trans was serviced and new solenoids installed. Just looking for ideas to check here.

Sometimes bad speed sensor will cause this. But it usually a problem in the governor circuit.

How many miles? Maybe it's tired....

we adjusted tv cable again. Trans has 30-35k on it. 4-500 miles since service and solenoids.

I would put pressure gauges on it at the shop just to rule out anything funny.

But, it still sounds like it's electrical to me.
