My son didn't tell me about his clutch slipping in a car. By the time I got to it and tried to limp it home, the clutch literally caught on fire. Don't let them go too long.

Wow, it was driving fine too execpt when climbing hills in the mountains, but nothing to bad. Guess I didnt even know how close I was to getting screwed in the hills

Hey guys I just got my tranny back in, but the clutch pedal seems way looser. But when I depress it, I can spin the output shaft with my hand, and when I let off its got a grip.

What do you think here? Possible the old release bearing sticking on the shaft?

Did you bye the clutch new or used you shouldn't be able to turn it at all.

I always replace the throwout bearing while I'm in there. Kind of like on my wife's car...might as well replace the water pump when replacing the timing belt. Saves headaches later.

I bought a new one. It is a hasley street puller. And let me re phrase that. With the clutch on the floor, I can turn it with a lot of ***** behind it. Its the pedal feel that worries me
