i think its a wiring prob..
its got to be wiring i replaced the vp lp and the filter now i have fuel pressure on the low pressure side but i only get i trickle on the out of the vp44 going back to the tank....and i only got moisture on the 1st injector(a few drops of fuel)...CHECK ENGINE light is still on and does anyone now anything about what PO253 means NO info in the haynes damn i wish i could get this thing to start........anyone anything Please!!! thx:argh :

but the lp is pumping fuel now that i put more fuel in the truck but im only getting a slow trickle out of the vp overflow (tons of fuel at the out of filter) and only drops at the #1 injector and CHECK ENGINE light still on????/?? why???? thanx 4 the help cause i cant figure it out

......................you cant expect alot of fuel out the overflow as it is set for 14psi.................you need to get the truck runnin then check the excess flow from the return line as 80% of the fuel will be returning to the tank , another thing is the VP wont let you get fuel out of every injector line pending on how its lined up, ech time you bump the starter try to bump the motor over just a touch so the injection pump stops at a different point

you checked the power to the plug at the back of the vp? when you installed the new vp did you plug your throttle postion sensor back in and did you get the pin on the shaft of the vp lined up with the gear inside correctly? I just got done putting on a new vp this weekend that is the code that came up on my truck when the pump went out, it took me about 10min to get all the air out of the lines. we hooked a snapon code reader on after the pump install you will be amazed how many codes it will throw when you start unplugging stuff.
