Thats a decent set up, I ran a very similar set up on my 2000 auto for a while, before going to bigger sticks and twins. I really liked that combo. EGT's were controllable and the truck was still fun and would still light tire. I was able to tow 18.5k like that without issue either, just had to turn the box down.

it will run very nice but what chips in it right now? I would not plug the pressure line on the turbo but get an adjustable boost elbow for it to make sure you don't break anything. Just make sure your gauges include fuel pressure. My dad had this exact same setup in his 99 5spd and the thing ran like a champ.
