Fass and Airdog both also sell just the pump version without the air removal option also for much less money, I'm just not smart enough to remember what they call em. If your lookin for every ounce of HP out of a competition truck then by all means spend the money but I'm just not sold on the fact that daily drivers/play toys need this option.



Hey jumpslut. In answer to your question on Boost. No the fuel pressure and Boost pressure are two different things. A Fuel Pressure Gauge is telling you how much pressure you have in the fuel lines leading to the VP44. The Boost pressure is reading the amount of exhaust gasses passing through the exhaust manifold.

Now having said that, yes it is possible that you are running the VP dry of fuel and that is causing a lack of boost pressure cause the truck is essentially still rolling but the motor is dead. If you have had that extra power box turned on and gettin on the go pedal you will run that VP dry using the stock lift pump, thats a fact.
