3 years of dash shining with armour all could of been what happened to mine. No cracks when I bought it and then one day 2 cracks showed up about a foot long and they weren't there that morning.

 

I had holes in my dash on my 01 and I got a cap and put it on and it looks real nice. From what I heard the petroleum armoral dries out the plastic and makes it crack. I use 303 protectant now its not spose to have any petroleum in it.
