Default Piece of junk dash

I am about to attempt to custom make my own dash pad. What would be the best material to use?

Fiberglass resin and felt .. works awesome .. you can fill the dash crack with poly fill or fiber fill .. then tape off bottom of the windshield with a strong tape ( I like duct tape over blue masking tape personally.

then once you have it all masked off .. lay a film of resin and lay your felt lay on the resin, and work it through the felt, I made mine slower setting so I had time to work with it more as its a big area to work on..

after its all cured up ( leave in sun once your done working resin through the felt and air bubbles are gone) .. then u can sand and paint to your liking.
