Relocated stock, replaced with a campaign, then a Holley Black. Finally put on a Raptor (Airdog without the filters). I finally stopped staring at my fuel pressure gauge all the time.

I'm still running my Walbro setup without any problems ... guess I got lucky with something for once!

I remember the fight you had trying to keep a fuel pump in your truck for a long time...

Yeah, I know, but I've had a constant 19+ PSI at idle/cruise and nothing less than 18 WOT since installing the Walbro.

I tried this and that, two pumps in series, all that stuff.
Finally put a belt driven pump on,when i start it I get 15psi,it was expensive in the kit I bought, like $750 but in the long run it's worth it,it's got something like 250k on it now, same belt it came with.

Also,I out an airdog on my moms truck,it seems to work great, but it don't see the miles my truck does,so it will be a little while before I know how the airdog holds up,not that it matters, since is got a lifetime guarantee.

Basically what everyone is saying there is NO SHORTCUTS to a fuel system. Either do it right the first time or pay for it in the long haul...

How would you install a Walbro pump. Do you use the stock pump relay to power it. Bypass Regulator and what kind? I have one and the system i have isn't to my satisfaction. Modified Pulse Width that only gives me about 7psi at idle and drops to 5 before coming up to 15 WOT.
