I dunno man you already have the built auto, I thought about this with my 2000 and that all the farther it got... Whats your time worth? Can the truck be down for awhile? Swapping out steering columns, putting in pedal assembly with the slave, cut up the floor and put the manual tranny hump in, swapping the PCM with one out of a manual truck, lengthening and shortening drive shafts and every other lil thing that needs to be done to make this work. Not trying to deter you just giving you options to weigh in on....

when my friend did his 12v he didnt have to switch out the PCM, i dont know maybe the 24v is different but his runs fine, he also didnt swap out his steering column he just took off his shifter for the auto

I appreciate all the input fella's! I can have the truck down all winter if i have to cause i have a beater truck that I drive in the winter anyways (the danger ranger)! I could do all the work myself but have priced the complete swap from a very good diesel mechanic and he wants $6800 out the door and thats for a dual disc and 1 3/8" input shaft and he could do it in 2 days and knowing me i could do it in a week maybe if im lucky! So if anyone is looking for a suncoast auto i am willing to sell it, it's got about 50,000k on it,triple disc conv, billett input shaft, intermediate shaft and output shaft, upgraded valvebody, and mag-hytec deep pan. I paid 5700 for it new and would let it go for 3200. thank again fella's

Don't forget to post your auto in the For sale section after you pull it!
