I had death wobble numerous times on my '96. Check the normal stuff first, tie rods, trac bar (most causes), wheel bearings and tires. A steering stabilizer is just a band aid, in my opinion. Post up if everything seems nomal on said checks.

i dont think its has to do with the control arm bushings, mine are so shot i can reach down and grab mine and move them with one finger, and my death wobble hasnt come back

when it can be fixed with the control arm bushings the camber or caster (I cant remeber which one it is) of the control arm adjustment is off as most alignment shops dont even touch it or know to check it.

GRI,does the steering brace help keep the sector shaft from wearing prematurely?
My steering box seems fine,it's got 400k on it,just wondering if the brace is worth what a person has to pay to get it.
I run over the road mostly, but sometimes the road can get kinda rough.
maybe I should start another thread for all the crap I need to fix..

I am not a firm believer in the brace. The theory is good and works for most people, but in a heavy duty/offroad application the brace bracket flexes withe the frame because they are tiing the two frame horns together. if the bracket was bolted to the same frame horn as the steering box then it would be a much better design.

Now, I believe the second gen dodges have a ton more frame flex than the 3rd gens
