I like the Airdog that I put on mom's truck, seemed to help the fuel mileage a little bit too.

I won't suggest a Holley Blue for anybody but if you want to use one save yourself a good amount of money and go to e-bay. There's a guy on there that sells Holley Look-a-likes for half the price and they even use the Holley rebuild kit's so you know they are the same thing. I know several guy's already using them in gas applications and have just as good a luck as they do with the name brand ones.

Also be careful with the prescreen on some of these pumps. You can safely use something more equivalent to a strainer and be fine. These are called Pusher Pumps because they have all the power in the world to push fuel but very little ability to suck fuel through the intake side. This is why the original Dodge design of locating the pump up in the front of the truck didn't work, they wouldn't pull fuel that far. As long as your using the factory fuel draw point you also already have a prescreen in the tank.

i ran them, several times, hated each one of those POS's, i blew at least 3 of them on a stock 98.5 24 valve before going with the fass. I never ran the tank near empty, if it got close to a quarter tank, id fill it up. diesel fuel is just slightly heavier then gas but that little wieght affects the pumps alot. dont waste the money, get an airdog or fass.
