Default Super B Turbo Question/Concern

hello, I have recently installed a super b turbo. It has about 500 easy miles on it. I was under the hood this past weekend and noticed that when the engine is shut off and the turbo is spooling down there is a clinking noise during the last second of the turbo spool down. I have checked all the bolts for tightness, ensured that oil was getting to it and checked the shaft play and found no front to back play and has no more side to side play than when it was installed and it spins freely. Is something to be concerned with?
Thanks in advance

are you sure its comming from the turbo??

if the pinwheel rubs the housing it will leave tracks

yea doesnt seem like a clunking would be coming from the turbo, check to see if maybe the exhaust isnt knocking on something when it shuts down, maybe get a buddy to help locate the noise

thanks for the responses I have stood at the turbo during shut down and after the engine stops ratteling the turbo still is spinning and sounds fine untill the last second or two then the noise happens. I have sent BD an email last night still waiting for a reply.
I was asked about a chip or programer I have neither. Also the wastegate is set at 30psi. I am changing the oil tonight. Maybe the issue??

also the sound is like a playing card in the spokes of a bike...it kind of ticks in that fashion. like i said earlier it only happens during the last second or two of it spinning.

Spin the fins by hand and see if you hear it ,, also check for play by moving in in all directions , BD will stand behind it ,, if it sounds like a base ball card in bike spokes when spinning it by hand call BD Immediately

I contacted BD have to call back. But I have narrowed the sound down to the heat shield behind the wheel on the exhaust side. It seems to move around and when I clocked it during the installation the heat shield moved out of adjustment(?). I have got it to where it is not making "the noise". I have a trip to make this weekend hopefully it is fixed....
Thanks again for the replys

was the turbine housing loose? the only way it can hit is if it is loose or if the thrust bearing is shot.
