Just waiting for the funds, I also checked flow to the VP, my pressure is monitored post filter and I have 17 lbs. and good flow going into the VP.

I have barely a trickle with 3 injector lines cracked, my thoughts are still at the VP biting the dust.

Please keep the info coming.

Thanks everyone
Jason

First, in case you dont know....be very careful cracking injector lines...never put you hands anywhere near the cracked line....use rags or cardboard.

Anyway, if you just have a trickle at the injectors and the P1688 code - its doesnt sound very good for your injector pump.

Rebuilt pump quality does vary, so be a little choosy when you get out your credit card. Good Luck.

I am really leaning toward Industrial Injection but I need more input.

Know of anyone else reputable?

We have a good shop up here in Seattle, but all the work that I know about has been big mechanical pumps, they have a VP-44 SO on the shelf ready to go but the price is higher than II and the core is $600.

This is what I really need help with as the money is coming Monday (finally).

If the truck is already sittin dead, just go ahead and pull the pump. If you send it to them ahead of time or take it in with you, there is no core charge. Another good supplier is Blue Chip Diesel. If your lookin for service more than you are a cheap price he is the man. As a customer he will take good care of you but that service comes at a price. I'm a tight *** myself when it comes to my money, but this pump is one place you don't want to scrimp. After the sale service is common on these things.

I DONT think you could go wrong with Industrial Injection....they are one of the big players I believe. Blue Chip would be good as well, but a long way from Washington state. Theres also Piers Diesel....

Are you looking at the Hot Rod pump?

What kind of price are you looking at? I believe stock rebuilds go for around $1050-1100 or so.
