Ok so now that I have the hotrod pump I want to know what the timing is on it from factory because it already has added timing and I don't want my truck to have too much timing advance because I do run a smarty programmer on the truck. So since then I've only ran my programmer on evens which don't have added timing. So if anyone out there is running a smarty with a hot rod pump please give me some info on the best set up even if I have to adjust options in my torque, duration, or speed limiter on my smarty. i might be wrong, but running a hot rod VP44 With a tuner might not be the best idea. I have heard of some problems with the timing or no timing at all with a tuner, They dont play nice together and the ECM doesnt play nice either.
