gear ratio??

does anybody know what the rpo code is for the gear ratios in a 3/4 ton?? I would just check the tags but the truck is currently under a few feet of snow and I don't really feel like tunneling to the rear end...

My 1998 had the actual gear ratio on a tag somewhere. I don't remember where it is though. I'll try to remember to look tomorrow.

Depending on the year the sticker can be in the glove box or under the hood

Most likely 3.55 they what in my 2000 3500 check the glove box
