I just bought a new lift pump for my truck and after instaling it i bump the starter to turn on the lift pump and there's no power to it what could be the problem my fuel system relay is good i don't know what the problem could be i need help

 

If Fass or air Dog, there is a inline relay and fuse.

 

My lift pump is an raptor pump brand new and I checked the relay its good and the only relay I know of is the one in the fuse box under the hood

 

Had this problem on my 02, turned out to be a bad wire in the harness connecting to the ecm going to the liftpump.

 

I just found that out today but still seems like my pumpaint running full blast seems like its barely going

 

Mine was like that for awhile until i rewired the harness and gained 4psi from the lp. I had a toggle switch from the batteries for a couple months but soon as i fixed it correctly the pump ran better and stronger. What lp you have?
