boost fooler good or bad??

Correct me if Im wrong (I have had no experence with smarty programmers) but I beileve they reprogram the ECU. Edge does not. Edge takes the vehicles signals modifies them then sends them to the engine, transmission, etc. I have heard of people stacking the 2 together. I wouldnt recommend unless you have done some drive train upgrades, as it sounds like a sure fire way to end up in the shop with an empty wallet or dead on the side of the road.

I must admit, I have no experience with Edge or Edge products, only Quadzilla and Smarty Jr. The only advice I have is to research carefully, do a process of elimination, decide on a product, and most importantly have fun & create a tire-smoke screen that would make the military proud of you. Cheers

People do stack them, but everything I have read says it actually hurts dyno numbers, although people swear that it makes a really fun street combo, but who knows. As for how the Edge makes power, it taps the injector pump, where the Smarty does not, and adds the same power as the Edge EZ, thru I believe the OBD port. As for me, I typically drive around in level 3 which is 80hp, just a tad more than max Smarty power. But it is fun to be able to crank it up to 120hp on the fly, like yesterday when I gave an uppity 6 liter that was loud, smokey, and feeling strong , and who challenged a lesson getting on the freeway
