Default Rubber line, lift pump to fuel filter bowl

Anybody have any problems with this line? When the 24V first came out Dodge used a steel fuel line from the lift pump to the fuel filter bowl thru 1999. In the 2000 model year Dodge used the rubber line with the 90 degree bend in it along with the banjo style end plugs held attachedvto the hose by hose clamps. The pressure from the lift pump to the HP pump was low on my truck so I will be replacing the lift pump along with the rubber line used in the 2001 models. Any other Forum members have a problem with this line before? Truck has 280K miles on it, so a large amount of fuel has passed thru that rubber line, which probably has wallowed out the ID of the rubber hose to some degree. The 99 metal line should take care of this problem.
