Default Interior parts swap: from old to new

I have a lot more knowledge in the 7.3 engine, 99 to 03 Ford diesel trucks then I do with the Dodge trucks. I am thinking about upgrading my 2001 Dodge 2500 SLT interior.

Now in the Ford trucks from 1999 to 2014 the seats and door panels fit in each model year truck. The PW/PL/PM switches need to wired up for the old to new switches, but an easy job with the correct pigtails. So my question is to the Forum, are the Dodge trucks like the Ford units, to where the interiors can be swapped out for the most part? Do the newer Dodge seats have the same bolt pattern as the older style seats? Does the later model door panels fit onto the earlier model doors? Thanks for the help.

I have seen some people on line that have done the same. They usually get on craigslist to find them in their area. I might take this up in the future the driver seat right now feels slightly less confortable than a pile of bricks.
