slow to start
this truck is a 2000 or '01, 197,000 miles, belongs to a friend, a few weeks ago it was a little slow to start so he changed the fuel filter. the truck sits most of the time until he wants to pull something, i used it to haul bulls today and noticed it was a little slow to start. it seems to have to crank over more than it should.
my question is, is this a sign of a weak fuel or lift pump? he bought the truck with 182,000 miles a few years ago and as far as we know this is the stock fuel/lift pump.

Sounds like a fuel issue, he definitely needs to replace that stock LP with an aftermarket LP. How long does it crank before it starts? Checked for codes?
