P0234 - Turbo Boost Limit Exceeded
sounds like a junk "chip"
any decent programmer like a smarty will reconfigure your boost tables to prevent over-boost codes, and any decent fueling box will have a map sensor loop that fools the map sensor reading to prevent an over-boost code.

Took the truck out on the highway again and it didn't hardly jerk at all. It feels like it is only sometimes that its bucking around during high speeds. The chip is disconnected so it couldn't be that. Is there a sensor that could be doing this? Its almost like its acting intermittent. It'll work sometimes, then other times it'll just jerk and buck around.
It's on the turbo. I not 100% sure about your year model truck, just throwing this info out. (still learning too!) Anyway, the adjustable elbow and programmer with boost fooler work together. The adjustable boost elbow will raise the turbo pressures higher than factory/stock levels and the programmer with boost fooler will keep the computer from throwing codes and defueling/bucking at higher than factory boost usually at higher speeds. That's how it works on my truck which is a 2004.0 The 2003-2004.0 still had a manual wastegate.

Looked at the turbo today. It looks like the adjustable elbow is on top. Doesn't look like one in pic probably because its old and dirty. I can't see wastegate on the side of the turbo. What does having the elbow mean?
