Do you mean VE Injection pump like the VP44 injection pump?

Question though...

Q: why are you considering changing out the VP44 for a different fuel injection pump?

A little confused as to what you mean by a rotary pump. Please clarify.

I dont see why it cant be done but the VE pump is not all that great. The VP44 is a rotary mechanical/electrical injection pump. You may need to post the video.

Just type it in on Youtube and you will see the Bosch Rotary pump on a 24V engine. I do believe that they had to clock it off one tooth for it not to interfer with the intake housing!

Still don't understand why you would do this?

Like on my truck I would lose my exhaust brake, my high idle kit, and my cruise control. (Manual trans). More trouble to set your timing and the VE pump. Limited abilities with fuel pins and springs for controlling smoke and fueling rates. All adjustment requires a tool box. VP44 can reach 600 HP without much trouble. VE typically are around 400-450 HP... There just a smaller pump. This whole thing applies to the P7100 conversion too. The only time I would even suggest either one is for a non-daily driver truck that is going be use for competition or racing.

VP44... Just plug in a module and adjust on the fly. Todays VP44 are nothing like yesterday's VP44's. Now that I've got it figured out this how to get a VP44 to last...
