Boost doesn't create power. Boost is used to control EGT's. Now you have to remember there is a think called a "Choke Point" this is where the turbo can create more boost than it can dump drive pressure. Typically drive pressure is lower than your boost pressure when your drive pressure and boost pressure match and criss-cross you've now hit the "Choke Point" at this point you just creating hotter boost. This why there is a wastegate and limit to everything. So plugging or enhancing the boost without supporting fuel is not going to produce more power.

I'm setup with my HX35W turbo with a Edge Performance Boost elbow and Edge Comp set on 5x3 or 5x5 and hit my boost limit at about 32-35 PSI. Perfect tune... Good MPG's and good towing performance.!
