Is that a single or dual disk clutch? A single disk rated for around 400+ hp is going to have a rough engagement. I would recommend a street dual disk for smooth engagement and great holding power.

if you are just towing with it or hot rodding around once in a while the dual disc south bend 3250 would suit you best. if you are going to any sled pulling, tug of war or drag racing i would get the south bend dual disc 3600, or 3850 sfi rated. the 3250dd with the organic combo discs does not slip well.

I run the southbend dd 3600 and it is semi grippy but you get used to it after awhile. The 3250 dd would be a good setup!

I'm running a Southbend Con OFE clutch. Wonderful single disc clutch with excellent manners. Holds up to the HP/TQ I'm producing to the point that even hitch up to my RV I can still break the tires loose in 2nd gear and bark 3rd in not careful. Seriously she sticks good!
