What is this? edge map adapter???
I sent my edge comp in for repair. I get a new wiring harness, and a new rebuilt module. The wiring harness looks just like what I sent in. I didn't need an adapter before, But I also have this in the box. Is this an adapter for the 98-00 trucks?? Mine is an 01 so I don't think I'll need it??? Help from the pros please.

That is the adapter for the 2002 harness. They changed the style of plug on the map sensor so you take that apart and half goes on the map sensor and the other side on the harness side. Then it will plug into the Comp Box. You won't need it for your 01. I was nice and sold mine to a guy for $20 so he could hook up a Edge EZ on his 02. You Comp box will not work on the 98.5-00 the voltage is different.
