well guys thanks alot for everything got it going i bled the injector pump it was full of air. and spraid a small bit of diesel ether in the intake and she fired up!
Ether is a bad idea. These trucks use a grid heater in the intake. You could seriously injure yourself or cause damage to your truck. Its ok as long as you disconnect the grids first.

yep ether is one of the worst thing you can do to a diesel, even without a grid heater it can damage rings and even pistons if enough is used

Yep. My dad has had hard starting problems with his 05 CTD dually for a few months. He decided to disconnect the grid heater and start using ether. As stubborn old farts often do, he went against my warnings on this, rather than just have it repaired at a proper licensed diesel shop or dealer. Well his truck just refuses to start at all. He's a cheap son-of-a-gun, but now has dumped hundreds of dollars into it. His so called "diesel mechanic buddies", 3 of them are a joke, and keep guessing what the issue is, so he dumps more money into it to no avail. There is doing it the right way, and doing it his way. His truck has not run in 3 weeks. Ether....no bueno!
