Default Charging issues

Both of my battery's are about 12.58 volts sitting both are new. While the truck is running the left battery is at 14.8 volts but the right hand battery is still at 12.58 volts.

I have continuity from neg post to ground and 12.58 volts pos to ground just no charge going to the right hand battery.

Anybody ever heard of this?

Thanks
Dave

Try cleaning your battery contacts, as well as all your negative/ground wires (there are a few). You may even have faulty cable(s). Happened to my last year. I cleaned all contacts to the batteries and all cables and ground wires. That cured my problem. No issues since. Hope this helps.

I have replaced all of the cable ends and everything still looks new. Checked all of the connections and grounds to the body. Later this weekend I will try running a jumper cable between the negative terminals and see if that works and start narrowing it down. Thanks for the reply
