Lack of fuel to the VP may cause that. Fuel pressure may act on the timing piston. No pressure, no force on the piston.

ok so i guess my fuel may have been that dirty, 2 more months and ill get my fass wheres a good place to get a banjo with the end to put a snubber and gauge my gauge isnt hooked up to the sensor yet
