my trucks acting like the tps is outta wack i tired to reset it didnt help some times its fine sometimes it goes to a dead pedal and will accelrate slow and if you let off some times it be ok then do it.

 

I would try a scan tool such as snapon etc. watch the reading as you press accelerator,or even an analog volt meter on pin 23? (somebody help me here)on the pcm on firewall,again watch the reading of the needle to see if it is smoth

 

Checked for codes? Anything else seem odd when it happens? Fuel pressure good?

 

well i got a tps sensor and a injection pump timing code kinda worried it might be a vp? the guy i got it from replaced it but can find paper work for warrenty eeeekkkkkkk
it was replaced about 20000 miles ago im tired of puttin money after money into this truck i like it but im broke these days its winter and i get paid flat rate and there isnt much work. it starts and idles great runs like it always has when it doesnt act up

well i didnt write them down i know i know wth anyways so today at work was damn slow so i checked my truck out i didnt a tps volt check to see if the volt goes from .62 to a full 3.80? it started at .38 so i adjusted the screw to .61 and it went to the 3 somthing, ok so i thought the tps is working got to thinking maybe my fuel is a problem uhhhhhh noooo i was thinking so i checked the fuel filter and man that thing was black and really dirty ive never seen my own trucks get so bad i run filtered used tranny fluid alot so i changed it eased codes and put the smarty on 1 so far so good!?!!!! what would cause a injection pump timing code? and i always get a 1693 code all tyhe time and a fueling error code is that the smarty ???
