on my truck the brights are pretty good but the dims are so dim you can drive with them on??? i found a bundle of black wires by driver side head light so i grinded down right below front of battery and it didnt do anything is it a bad ground some where i think the head lights are not ment for the truck i think there 9007 but it seemed that way with the different ones before i installed these ones i had laying around??? i had after market head lights then i put stockers back in any help would be great!!!

 

You might want to get a multimeter and measure voltage at the headlight plug.Is your headlight switch getting hot?You're probably getting high resistance from corroded plugs or switch.

 

X2 Id check what you are getting at the light socket

 

make sure they are ajusted right. if they are too high it will make them appear not to be bright. and if they are to low you just cant see them at all.

 

i figured it out i had some 9007 bulbs laying around i put in i put the 9004 and there good thanks guys!!!
