I ordered a custom holset 40/35 turbo and stage 2 injectors and 3200 gov spring from dynomite diesel in monroe washington they we very helpful in suggesting a set up for my old first gen truck.

I also ordered a killer dowl pin kit from genos garage and installed that even though my pin was still resessed.ew

Would have went for stage 3 injectors but miami where i live hot and humid and probably would have smoked too much.
Much better responce around town and smoth on the highway.

Egt runs higher so cool her of a few minutes before shutdowm.

if you are going to intercool it find an he351 and be done for awhile instead of piddling around with housings for your stocker or hybrid hx's an -he- is a better stock turbo.

ok well i really like the he, but it seems kinda complicated to set up. Anybody done it on their truck that can explain about how hard it is?and what size injectors you think would be good for that turbo, im already non ic so they are bigger to begin with.

and where did yall find these powerstroke intercoolers?all the ones i find are expensive as hell.

For a budget, I'd get POD's and an HX35...about 10 years ago's technology, but cheap! Oh, lots of timing too.....should make 400 to the wheels.
