Default intake mani

With the dual horn intake for the 12v is it worth buying? And notice in power? Lower egts? Is it worth it for a high power build

- It's intended purpose is to help better distribute the charge-air to cylinders 1 & 6, etc. Provided it's effective in doing that, then yes, those cylinders will present with a lower EGT, or more accurately, EGTs that are more consistent with the other cylinders.
- Increased power? NO. Unless those cylinders mentioned above were running rich, which in that case then perhaps yes a little more power by better burning the available fuel going to those cylinders. (Think insignificant, generally speaking).
- High-power build? When Banks first started selling the things, no one was cutting intake-logs off the 12v heads. So in that shade of light, they were relatively effective but stupid expensive. But now days, it's common practice to cut the intake-log off so as to have full access to the intake runners and such for porting. Then you bolt a stupid expensive custom intake-log back on. That being said, how fast do you want to go?

I run one of the Banks units (got it a long time ago cheap) and I reckon it works well with a small set of twins, big honking inter-cooler, ported head, cam, etc.

As mentioned above, stock/OEM VE injector feed-line won't fit as is. I bent myself a set that would though.

For a low budget build, I'd personally spend that money on a cam first.
