I have an idea I want to run with. To do this, I need to now what the factory tps voltages are. It is a 3 wire setup, so I need to know which wire is which and the voltage sweep (idle to WOT). Please help!!!

 

5 volt supply is VT/WT, Sensor return is BK/LB, TPS is OR/DB wires
1 volt min to 3.5 volt WOT

 

Just curious what is your idea. Im looking at doing something different with my TPS

 

I was going to try to make my own tps, but I could find one with the correctvoltage sweep in that much of a turn. I just dash mounted the thing. Works great except it does have kickdown.

 

I had to replace the tps on mine, and since I'm kind of a cheapo I adapted one I already had. It range was around a1vdc to 4vdc sweep. I had to set it around .7vdc at idle to get it to shift right. Any higher, and it waited too long to shift, any lower and shifted too early. I hope this helps.
