Auto to NV4500 Conversion
That's good. I have a 92 with an A518, but someone swapped the factory pump out for one that doesn't have a TPS... I am tired of dealing with it because I hate an auto. I even own a ford heavy F350 (late 04 model) with the 6.0 and a 6 speed. I bought the only one I have ever seen in person. Its a dog below 2300rpm but kicks above that. I hate a steering wheel holder truck. Plus, up til the commonrail cummins came out, they were built for a manual, power comes in low and holds level thru range. I am a jack of all trade diesel mechanic and this is my first cummins pickup. I got her for a song! Now trying to make it what I want...
my question is i have a gatreg 5 sp with a 205 transfer case, and i am going to be putting in a NV4500 using the same 205 transfer case in. will my drive shafts work i have now out of my 93, or do i need a different length? (shortin or lengthing, front or back)?

Ive heard that with the getrag to nv4500 conversions that you only have to modify the rear though I think. The front one's slip joint may have enough for that one but I don't know that.
Done some measuring and it more like 1 1/4. Thick adapter plate that needs to be made
